Kansas is one of the best. We all know it, so how about taking the plunge this year? And the chances of drawing a tag are generally about 100%!
For 2019, this quality outfitter has partnered with another quality outfitter in central Kansas to DOUBLE the amount of land and lodging available to hunters, while allowing their combined operation to better manage their properties. This second outfitter has previously hosted the Major League Bowhunter TV show.
Here is what one client had to say about this operation:
“They are the best! Quality of game has always been spectacular. After 8 years of hunting with them, I’ve killed 7 massive bucks all averaging 160+ inches. Meals are always great as well. 3 meals cooked fresh and hot every day. From fresh birds we killed to filet mignon. The guides are top notch hunters. They have been some of the most experienced guides I ever hunted with, from spot and stalks to also being great scouters in the preseason, as well as great blood trackers when I took a not so great shot but still they helped me recover my buck that same night!” – David H.
This outfitter hunts over 30,000 acres of private property in Units 5 and 15. We like that some of it borders the Quivira National Wildlife Refuge as a source for a continuing supply of big bucks! This refuge is home to some of the largest bucks in the state. Top it off with a BRAND NEW hunting lodge and this trip is one not to miss! Hunting is primarily from stands which are pre-scouted and located. And how can you ignore a regular client who has taken 7 bucks in 8 years, averaging 160! Apply for license in April.
In terms of sizes, a 201” is their largest. Overall they have taken more than 20 deer between 160” and 190”. Opportunity is typically 100%. Success depends on how picky a client is. But overall a fair figure is 70%.

ACCOMMODATIONS
They have two different lodges. The main lodge is basically a new and modern home structure, built in 2014. It is very well done with a great room, living room, comfortable bedrooms, hot showers and good home-style meals. They can handle up to 8 hunters at the main lodge. There is a laundry room and skinning shed too.
The second lodge was added for 2018. It can handle 6 people at one time, and it too is very comfortable and clean. This is an older two-story farmhouse, a bit rustic but re-done so it is clean and comfortable. All hunts include lodging, guiding, meals and game cleaning. Observers are welcome, provided there is room.
